Trybike

Trybike is a Dutch brand that develops a special kind of running wheel for children. From the age of 12 months, this product is designed to help toddlers learn to walk. Thanks to the 4-in-1 concept, the Trybike grow with the child and still be a lot of fun up to the age of 6. So the Trybike can be transformed from a walking aid into a running wheel with 3 wheels and later into a low and then a high running wheel for older children. The founders

The founders are Pim and Alex - two brothers with a great passion for cycling. Like many bicycle enthusiasts, they come from the Netherlands. In addition to bicycles, they have been involved with other great toys for over 10 years, mainly those with wheels, such as the running wheel.

Since 2015, the two have been developing their own running wheels, drawing on their many years of experience as cyclists and toy sellers. They have done everything in their power to design the perfect running wheel, which meets their demands for durability, sustainability and aesthetics 100%. The result of this product development process is the so-called "Trybike", which they describe as exactly the running bike they would have liked to have had as children.

Their incentive

What motivated the brothers to develop the Trybike was the fact that they were not 100% satisfied with any of the wheels from recognised brands that they have sold in their 7-year career as distributors. They always found faults somewhere - be it in the price, the quality or in the functioning or philosophy of the brand itself. So they set themselves the goal of using their knowledge and experience to develop a wheel that was perfect in their eyes. And so the Trybike - a product they stand behind with the best conscience and are incredibly proud of.

The product development

The product development took 1.5 years. 18 months in which 34 prototypes were created, which were put to the test by test drivers in the most brutal way. In the end, they were satisfied with the result, which Trybike met their requirements. It was designed and tested in Trybike Although the bikes were designed and tested in their home country, the Netherlands, the production had to be moved to a small factory in China due to the high costs in Europe. Here, the bicycles are manufactured with a lot of respect for the environment and the people. The founders are very proud of the factory in China and its employees, who have now even become friends.

Advantages

What makes using the Trybikes is the fact that the seat and handlebars are always in the right position. Unlike other wheels, the seat can be adjusted not only upwards but also backwards. This ensures that your child can grow without the seat becoming uncomfortable or even unhealthy.position becomes uncomfortable or even unhealthy. In addition, we have kept the steering radius of this wheel as small as possible to make the riding experience as pleasant as possible for the child.

Sustainability

One aspect that was particularly important to the two Dutch brothers during the development and production of their invention is that of sustainability. To this end, they make sure that the product is manufactured without harming the environment and fellow human beings. For example, the use of plastic is reduced to a minimum and due to the high water consumption, cotton is not used. Instead, certified wood, recycled planks and exclusively high-quality and safe materials are used. Even if perfection has not yet been achieved here, the environment is done a favour simply by the fact that the Trybike eternal, a favour is done for the environment.
