Owlet Dream Sock: Intelligent baby monitoring
The Owlet company specializes in providing added security for families with babies. In addition to cameras that can be installed in the baby's room, Owlet also offers devices for toddlers that transmit their vital signs in real time to the parents' smartphone.

The Owlet Dream Sock: Intelligent baby monitoring

Medically approved devices such as the Dream Sock provide real-time health measurements. The baby pulse oximeter is worn on the foot. In addition to the heart rate, the device also monitors the oxygen saturation of the blood and tracks the baby's sleep patterns. Thanks to modern technology, the Dream Sock sends the real-time measurements directly to the smartphone. The only requirement is the installation of the Owlet Dream app. In addition, the data can be viewed on the base station. As soon as an unusual situation occurs, a notification is sent. The Dream Sock is designed for babies aged 0 to 18 months or for a body weight of 2.5 to 13.6 kg.

The device is comfortable to wear and does not restrict the baby's freedom of movement. The practical Dream Sock can be worn under a conventional sock.

When should a baby pulse oximeter be used?

Although every baby is thoroughly examined after birth, heart defects may go undetected. This affects around 4 out of 10,000 babies. Pulse oximetry can help to detect heart defects early on, enabling quick and targeted treatment of the baby.

Important: The sock helps to detect possible illnesses. However, it is not a medical device. The device only provides data about abnormalities, but it is not used for diagnosis and cannot replace medical monitoring devices.

Owlet Cam and sound and motion detector

If you want to be sure that your baby is doing well, you can combine this practical device for real-time health measurements with the Owlet Cam - a Smart HD Video Baby Monitor. The camera has a night vision function and thus makes it possible to see the baby clearly even in the dark. The two-way audio function is also practical, allowing parents to communicate with their toddler at any time.

In addition to a noise and motion detector, there is also a sensor that records and transmits information on the temperature and humidity in the child's room.
