Footmuff
Your baby should neither sweat nor freeze in a perfect footmuff. It should also not be bought too small, because the little darlings grow quickly. You can even use these foot sacks in the baby bath . Your child can kick off a blanket, but in a foot sack nothing slips and the little ones don't get cold.
There are foot sacks with a different number of slits. Usually there are three or five slits. If it only has three slots, you cannot use it in a buggy or a seat with a 5-point harness system.

A foot sack of 100 cm in length is usually still suitable for a child of 2.5 years.
These bags are closed with zippers. They can be attached at the side or in the middle. A zipper in the middle prevents the bag from opening completely. For children who are already walking, an extra zipper at the bottom is useful. Then the dirty shoes can just peek out and the bag is not soiled from the inside.
The outer sides are made of water-repellent materials. The material for the inside can be chosen differently depending on the season. Allergy sufferers tolerate synthetic fibre balls as a filler better than down. Fleece and lambskin are particularly popular. If the back has an anti-slip material, you can use the bag unfolded as a crawling blanket.
