Prevention during pregnancy
A bacterial vaginal infection develops within 2-3 days. The interval between preventive examinations by a doctor or midwife is too long for a possible infection to be detected and treated in time. The vaginal pH value often provides early indications of bacterial infections in the vagina. If an infection is not detected in time, it can rise in the vagina and cause premature labour or rupture of the membranes. This can lead to premature births. About one third of all premature births are attributed to a bacterial vaginal infection. Preventive care outside pregnancy
About 75% of all women suffer from vaginal infections at least once in their lives. In 20-30%, these occur regularly. Vaginal infections are accompanied by various complaints such as itching, burning, dryness, increased discharge or an unpleasant odour. Severe untreated infections can cause inflammation and lead to infertility. Therefore, even outside pregnancy, it makes sense to check the vaginal pH regularly to prevent infections. Application
The application is very simple. The indicator strip built into the applicator is brought into contact with the vaginal secretion for a few seconds. The strip can then be compared with the colour scale on the foil pouch to read off the test result. Content - 2 pieces
