Containers help to store baby food

Whether babies are being given breast milk in portions, baby's porridge is being frozen or toddlers are being encouraged to eat fruit and vegetables: Containers are indispensable in everyday life with babies and toddlers. The practical containers, jars and bottles can be reused, are leak-proof and can be taken everywhere. The practical helpers are made of food-safe materials, can be cleaned in the dishwasher or heated in the microwave depending on the model and are suitable for freezing.


Containers for newborns and young babies

Pumping breastmilk is a good way to give babies their usual meal and give mothers some flexibility. If a return to work or important commutes are necessary, then breast milk can be pumped, stored in its own breast milk bags and given to the babies after some time. Breast milk keeps fresh for about four hours at room temperature, but much longer in the fridge or freezer. Breastfeeding needs containers in different sizes

The finished porridge can be frozen and defrosted in a bain-marie. Low-nitrate vegetables such as carrots, cauliflower or courgettes and parsnips are very suitable for preparation. For cereal- and milk-containing porridges, thawing can lead to a change in consistency, which is why these should be prepared fresh. The porridges must always be frozen in portion sizes, which is why the different container sizes are helpful. If the porridge is to be eaten on the go, then containers with enclosed spoons or thermal containers are helpful. Depending on the model, these keep the porridge warm for up to 6 hours. A visit to grandma and grandpa's house or a trip to the playground can be made easier because the babies still get their normal porridge meal. To get the little ones used to their first fruit meal, the fruit can be finely strained and filled into fruit teats or squeeze containers.


Toddlers need stimulation when eating

Toddlers should eat several times a day and not let more than two to four hours pass between meals. Three main meals and at least two snacks in between are on the menu for the little ones. To ensure that the meals are well-balanced, a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit, cereals, milk and little meat and fish should be served. The snacks are often enjoyed on the go. So that the little ones enjoy eating their vegetable sticks, fruit slices, yoghurt or healthy snacks, it is helpful to offer them in fun containers. Containers with animal motifs or unbreakable tins that invite children to discover the food make them want to eat. The more varied the meals are, the more the taste buds of the little ones develop and the greater the chance that the toddlers will find their favourite vegetables. Stackable boxes make it easier to take the different meals with them. The boxes can be used individually or can be transported stacked together to save space. Each food is airtight thanks to a rubber seal and the taste of the food is preserved. Because toddlers like to eat on their own, shatterproof containers made of silicone are advantageous.
