About Baby sun protection for the skin
The first time on holiday with your baby or enjoying a sunny afternoon in the garden. As your baby's skin is still particularly sensitive, mum has to take extra care to protect it.
After just a few minutes, your child can get a sunburn because their skin is much thinner than that of an adult. In children, even a slight sunburn can cause severe burns and have late effects. If possible, stay at home with your baby between 11:00 and 15:00. This is when the sun is strongest.
Even if the temperature is still cool, remember to protect your baby's skin well. Sun creams for babies are specially developed for delicate and sensitive skin and offer a high sun protection factor. They do not contain alcohol or perfume and are therefore well tolerated by the skin.
Remember to apply the sunscreen 20 minutes before you leave the house and repeat it regularly.
